Boeing Financials Q2 2013

by July 24, 2013

Boeing Aviation reported second-quarter results.

Boeing Financials Q2 2013

Boeing Aviations: Dreamliner issues seem gone.
Boeing succeeded to stabilize inventory level, no more increases.
We still consider the inventory level as unsustainable.
See previous analysis for details: Dreamlining: Boeing earnings Q1 2013

What’s worrying now is the large amount ($408 million) of stock options being exercised, a 3-year maximum.
Maybe stock price is too high and declines are envisioned ahead.
There is a chance the inventory write-down we were forecasting in the previous report may come sooner than later, as indicated by the stock options activity. Inventory write-down is unlikely to occur in Q3 (not next quarter – SEC may take notice), more likely could be in Q4.
