General Electric Financials Q2 2013

by August 4, 2013

General Electric (GE) official Q2 results.

GE Financials Q2 2013

The Electric General: De-leveraging steadily and quickly.
Sales relatively flat QoQ and down YoY.
Gross margin declined both QoQ and YoY.
At least GE saved the net income, managing a slight increase YoY on less exceptional items and lower tax rate.
What’s really impressive is the ever – decreasing balance sheet.
Current assets were used to repay current liabilities, and long term debt also declined on expense of long-term assets.
Same appears in cash flows: debt is being repaid.
Treasury stock repurchases increased.
