So far everything up and bright for Home Depot. Earnings and financial results released today show nice sales, higher margins, record profits and operating cash flow. Sales guidance up a bit. Elevated inventory level suggests Home Depot’s management have some fresh business ideas.
General Electric, the shrinking giant general?
Steady and slow decline in sales, margins, and assets.
Financials apparently have only one direction: down. Sales are slowly going down; margins as well. Net income is not great either. Asset base is shrinking, albeit long term debt stayed the same.
